WHAT IS BICCO?
BICCO is a magic word: it contains childish looks, tiny sticky toes, cuddly moments.
BICCO was an evening ritual with my daughter Olivia back in the days when her language was made of gibberish sounds, exploring the world with her finger tips.
Thanks to her I discovered my passion for toy design, connecting my desire for play along an imaginary fil rouge with an urge for creativity.
To Olivia, my spider monkey, inventor of the Bicco game.
“I believe in the magic of free, open play for all children and am passionate about putting my ideas at work to help shape quality products and services.”
Susanna Iraci is an Italian industrial designer graduated from Milan’s Polytechnic, whose initial work has gravitated around sustainability and service design. It was only after a few roller coaster rides and becoming a mother that she decided to shift the focus of her career and head back to school, to enroll in the Master in Design for Kids and Toys at Poli.design.
Multidisciplinary and flexible, during the years she has often worked at the intersection between creativity, communication and internationalization – both in corporate team contexts as well as managing her own projects as a freelance.
Enthusiastic designer, child at heart, avid tea drinker, bookworm and a language – nerd.
